Anyone else get this? Tim Armstrong's "Hellcat Records" live DVD from the past few years. Lots or Rancid, and all the other great HellCat bands......Tiger Army, Dropkick Murphys, Horrorpops, US Bombs, Lars and the Bastards, etc...........this DVD is great IMO.

    Any other opinions?

It seemed to me like they started out making a Rancid DVD and said screw it and just threw in a live song from each of the Hellcat bands. I mean, everything that's not just a live song is Rancid and on top of that they had like six or so of their songs live. Not that I'm complaining. It just seems like with just a little more effort they could have turned this into two DVDs: a Rancid one and a Hellcat one. Just my opinion; still worth the fifteen bucks and then some to me.

No way man, Ive been waiting for that DVD since 2002. I still have the original promo for the DVD that was called "The Hellcat Movie".

Even then it was mostly Rancid. The only noticeable diffrence was it had Distillers footage. Jee, wonder why that got cut?

But Rancid taped EVERY show on that tour (as far as I heard)& because of that the Japan Bootleg DVD surfaced. Which is amazing quality.

Man, I love Rancid. I saw their first London gig at the Underworld in Camden about 10 years ago in front of about 400 people. Their next London gig was at the Brixton Academy, holding 10 times that amount. And all that with practically zero airplay and two tiny articles in the music weeklies.

And Out Come The Wolves is my equal second favourite album ever and my 6 year old boy loves Radio Havana off Rancid (1994)

My next payday, I will definitely be buying this, along with The Unheard Music DVD and X - Live in Los Angeles.

Hmmm....I'll have to check out that Rancid boot. I've seen it all over Ebay. Yeah, it would have been cool to have a 2 DVD set....once Rancid, one Hellcat bands. But, I'm still happy with it.

    BTW....the X DVD is fantastic!

Just watched this, I love it! If you are a Rancid fan at all you gotta get it. Liked the other Hellcat bands' performances as well. The acoustic songs were great. (love that cameo apearance in Seattle!) Always love seeing Joe Strummer footage. I'm ok with a lot of Rancid and one song each from the other bands. It feels like a video tour diary, Tim A's fav moments and some of his friends too.
